He changed my entire life in Con-Air, seriously though, even since 1991 how many movies have there been with such an addictive style of acting and storyline? He blew us away playing the bad guy in Face Off and he left me, literally on the edge of my seat in Gone In 60 Seconds. All that said, all that taken to heart, nothing, and I mean nothing will prepare you for Nicolas Cages stellar performance in this total master-creation. Written as well as directed by the exceedingly scrupulous and meticulous Brian Taylor and starring some of the biggest names in the industry we bring to you a horror/comedy movie with a twist never before seen in Hollywood history. We saw realism in a Zombie film getting taken to entirely new and unprecedented level in The Walking Dead, we saw this fade off somewhat in Fear Of The Walking Dead, and then we saw a timid attempt at a cross recreation of the two in Train to Busan, but I can truly say, with the utmost pride and amazement that this is the single most gripping and entertaining spin on the niche that I have ever seen. Typically speaking, production houses, especially the likes of Armory Films and especially Zeal Media tend to steer well away from motion pictures that depict putting kids in harms way. They, and the bulk of society have always maintained a stand point that it is a topic just too close to home, and more often than not leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the viewers, especially viewers that have kids of their own. Taking heed of that noteworthy point, this time round they completely drop their gloves and have actually created the most frightening film, though with comedic highlights entirely premised around a virus that leaked, one that alters the mental state of all parents across the nation, to the hideous point of actually turning upon their own children but in the most chilling and often at times highly disturbing ways. Definitely not for the faint at heart, nor is it a family film, but for true horror fanatics, this will undeniable be of the best content you have watched in the last two years! Exceptional cast, very original storyline and a monumental ending that will leave you more in love with your very own family than ever before!
